Astimat Paint
Product Description: Asthma and allergy friendly, very low VOC (<1g/L), pure acrylic binder based, water-based, matte appearance, first-class, top coat interior paint.
Features: SILKCOAT ASTIMAT paint, with its high durability and covering power, is a first-class interior paint that is breathable, harmless to human health, and environmentally friendly. It's easily applied to the surface and leaves no roller marks. It's truly wipeable, and its colors retain their vibrant color for many years.
Scope of application: It can be applied to all old painted surfaces that have been prepared for the ground, interior surfaces such as concrete, plaster, black plaster, betopan, glass textile and paintable wallpaper.
Technical Data: Density (g/mL) = 1,40 ± 0,5. VOC (g/L) = <1. Application: The surface to be applied must be cleared of all dust, dirt, and oil. Gloves may be worn to protect the skin when using the product. This paint has a high pH and may cause allergic reactions to any substance. Therefore, we encourage safety despite allergy labeling. If necessary, surface irregularities and cracks should be repaired with Silkcoat Internal Acrylic Putty. It is recommended to use Silkcoat ASTIMAT paint diluted 30-50% as a primer on required surfaces. Silkcoat ASTIMAT should be diluted 10-15% with clean water and applied in two coats using a roller, brush, or spray method. Wait at least 2 hours between coats, depending on the air temperature.
After application, used tools should be immediately cleaned with water. On newly plastered surfaces, wait at least 28 days before applying paint. The paint should be mixed by machine or by hand until completely homogeneous before use. The ambient and surface temperature should be between +5ºC and +35ºC during the application and product drying period. If application will be made on very glossy and glassy surfaces, the surface should be sanded first to create a solid surface to ensure better adhesion. Storage: Store for at least 1 year in a cool, clean and dry environment, away from direct sunlight and without opening the product container. Packaging: 15 L, 7.5 L, 2.5 L plastic buckets.
Note: This product is colored using pure, inorganic pigments in accordance with the Danish Association for Asthma and Allergy labeling. It is colored using the pigments required for its production. No additional coloring is permitted. If additives are added to the dye (e.g., extra color), the product will no longer be labeled as an allergy-safe.
