Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation:
The application surface must be completely cleared of dust, dirt and oil.
Blistered or old painted areas should be cleaned by lightly sanding to create a smooth, dry and solid surface.

2. Primer Application:

  • On new and absorbent surfaces: Silkcoat Isolac

  • On old painted, dirty or synthetic surfaces: Silkcoat Universal Primer

  • On putty applied surfaces: Silkcoat Putty Primer recommended.
    This step strengthens the adhesion between the paint and the surface.

3. Application:
Silkomatt is diluted with 10–15% clean water.
By roller, brush or spray method double It is applied in case of overheating. Depending on the ambient temperature between coats, at least 2 hours should be expected.

4. Application Conditions:
Ambient temperature during application and drying +5°C to +35°C should be between.
